Housing and the City

This book, published by Drawing Matter Somerset and edited by Helen Thomas, is based on the exhibition «Housing and the City» held in 2017 at the Architectural Association curated by Ellis Woodman and Manuel Montenegro. The book frames an encounter between the work of Álvaro Siza and James Gowan in the development of their low-cost housing experiments of the 1960s and 70s.
