The La Capell PopUp
Proximity design for a Christmas in Transition
This initiative was born with the intention of transforming the custom of Christmas gifts into an opportunity to put on the table that we are a society in transition, in its immense variety of kisses. Trying to turn an era, on consumption seems inevitable, into a space on in a playful and festive way, we invite those who buy and receive gifts to enter into a game of changing habits and paradigms.
On the one hand, we can choose products that invite us to rethink consumption, life, speed, the city. Products made with renewable materials, made cil reuse and/or recycling. Honest products, artisans in a broad sense of the term, made with local cura and materials. Long-term products, which are not for quick consumption si not for slow tasting and use.
At the same time, we will have mainly local products, locally produced, fleeing from delocalized production models. Objects that are rooted in the territory of on come out that bring us pieces of local traditions, knowledge and pleasures. Products that are the result of a context, a landscape and a time.
We will also be able to choose objects designed or produced by people who are references for us, both in the past and today. Emerging authors and producers who we believe are worth betting on. Creators who are proposing new scenarios for the production of objects of use. We seek to create links between producers and users, which expands the shopping experience to quan we are using the objects and lasts the link with those who have fet them.
BON Christmas of proximity !!
