The documentation collected by the explorers who arrived in North America from the fifteenth century onwards provides us with an unparalleled opportunity to travel back in time. The testimonies, drawings, plans and engravings they gathered bring us closer to the knowledge that the Native Americans had refined for centuries. This knowledge encompassed every field we could imagine: medicine, bot ananica, chemistry and, of course, architecture.
