LB 22 Josep Ferrando Social Center

Josep Ferrando proposed a rehabilitation strategy for a former prison in Reus (Catalonia, Spain). It consists of unravelling the building's form and content, thereby revealing its temporality and integrating a conscious present. The architect's methodology frees the project from preconceptions conditioned by fashionable tendencies, resulting instead in a clear, orderly, and timeless architecture.
