They stole our youth

For years, Víctor Amela has interviewed the survivors of the fifth of the bottle in his section "La contra" of La Vanguardia, those young people born in 1920 who were llam to the front to fight in the last great battle of the civil war. They were children of barely eighteen years old who abandoned everything to fight in las trenches on the Ebro front where many of them would die.
