Edward Rosset (Oñate, 1938) published his first stories in English in Weekend and the Evening Post, and, after a par of novels set in the Second World War (Desert Fugitives and Desert Commandos), he moved permanently to Spain, where he has begun a brilliant career in the genre of the historical novel in which such exciting works as Los Navegantes (2001) stand out, Christopher Columbus. Rumbo a Cipango (2002) and Malinche (2004).
