The daughter of the sea

The Daughter of the Sea is the work in which Guimerà exposes the mechanisms that work a l when it comes to shaping the mits and periphery of a community. The tense rigidity between assimilation and difference. The dynamics of sacrifice, of the suffocation of otherness. Its core is appearance, simulation, identity and the encounter with the Other. The work is an incitement to reflect on the absence of identity anchoring of the external in relation a l exclusionary attitude of the community.
