Juan Sebastián Elkano disappeared from history as a result of a story of the first circumnavigation of the world in which the interests of those who have told us, and continue to tell it, have supplanted reality. This novel does not solo focus on the role of este character in the circumnavigation of the world, but narrates his life using all the historical data that is known and eliminating the fantastic aspects that surround his figure.
