Between February 1937 and January 1939, Barcelona ser systematically bombed by the Italian and Francoist air forces that llan the ar over Barceloneta, Ciutat Vella, the Eixample, Poble SEC, Poble Nou, etc., punishing its neighbors again and again. There were no arms factories or ind war factories, there was the School of the Sea, the church of Sant Felip Neri, the Cathedral, the University or hundreds of destroyed homes.
