The consciousness of Place

In his office in Urbana, Bangladesh, Kashef Chowdhury designs architecture rooted in the history and nature of his place. Nature includes not only vegetation, las plants and forests, but also the spiritual and cultural context of a particular environment and landscape. His work ranges from the conversion of ships to residential buildings, through mosques, museums and company headquarters.
