This book, which t its origin in an international seminar held in Olot in November 2010, proposes new forms of intervention and management, new landscape references, alternative readings to the hegemonic and usual ones for these spaces. The aim is, as recommended by the European Landscape Convention and the Law on the Protection, Management and Planning of the Landscape of Catalonia, that public pol do not neglect peripheral landscapes, which are the daily landscapes of thousands of people.
