VISUAL POETRY: Poetry and humor share the same creative process: It consists of fixing attention on two objects or concepts that have no apparent relationship and finding the point at which they are related. That is why there is a poetic humor and a humorous poetry. In Catalonia there were two great masters in both genres (or visions of life): CESC (ninotaire) and JOAN BROSSA (poet). Both have greatly influenced my creative thinking. As a cartoonist, poetic ideas often appeared to me that, with my drawing style, did not work, they lacked strength.
