The Engineering of the Roman Army

Roads, bridges, aqueducts, canals and ditches, and even the creation of cities and the execution of their infrastructure works and their monumental ornamentation. When they were not at war, the soldiers of the Roman Army actively participated in great works of civil engineering, which we still admire today.
