The book studies in depth the urban and architectural development of Barcelona's Eixample, with the aim of providing a m global vision of the so-called "Eixample phenomenon". The first part of the work deals with land management and its subdivision, and makes a typological study of the buildings that were built there, while the second part of the volume examines the technology used, the building processes, the durability and the behavior over time in order to know the potential of the rehabilitation.
