This edition brings together eleven texts in which Mario Vargas Llosa addresses aspects of architecture and urban experience. This selection allows us to recognize the author as a citizen who does not solo transit and consume the city, but also reflects lucidly on it, with a broad view of its public spaces and buildings, some distant and dissimilar such as a renowned library in London, or the house where he was born, in Arequipa, Peru.
