When Jane Jacobs wrote Death and Life of las Great American Cities, she did not suspect that, many years later, people would honor her memory by walking in groups and looking at the city through their glasses. These acts of tribute began in Toronto in 2006 and have since spread to other major cities. In Madrid, "Jane's walks" have been organized since 2010, tours conceived and executed collectively, with the participation of the neighborhood.
