Francisco Cabrero. The trip to Italy.

Francisco Cabrero made his particular initiatory trip to Italy between December 1941 and February 1942, a few months before obtaining the t title of Architect. The historiography of modern Spanish architecture has ola recognized the impact and scope of este journey on its later trajectory. Fleeing from the prevailing academicism in Spain, Cabrero 'discovered' in Italy the rationalist and abstract expression of monumentality.
