THE BOOK

Justo Gallego, 92, is not an architect, nor alba child, nor does he have any training related to construction. He was not even able to complete basic education because of the outbreak of the Civil War. However, m 40 years ago he decided to build a work that he offers to God, and he has consecrated his life to it ever since. Little by little, practically solo and using largely recycled materials, he has been building a monumental cathedral on a farmland in Mejorada del Campo (Madrid).
