In the last cada of the nineteenth century, Modernism was born as a reaction to the industrial city and the monotony of mass production, and advocated the integration of all las arts in the search for the concept of a total work of art. The exhibition "Modernism. Art, workshops, industries" (La Pedrera, Barcelona, October 2015 - February 2016) focuses on the trades that contributed to the splendour of este artistic movement (cer, mosaic, glass, wrought iron, wood...), with the aim of vindicating the work of the creators, craftsmen and las industries that placed Modernism at the forefront of the European avant-garde, and to reveal the strategic changes that were triggered in the marketing, advertising and dissemination of some of the m coveted products of the moment.
