Especially in his early years, Franz Kafka drew intensely and with artistic ambitions. At his death, however, he did not solo want to destroy his literary legacy, but also all his drawings. After his friend MAX Brod managed to save many, most of them remained hidden for decades. Here they are published in their entirety for the first time, and make visible a second Kafka m beyond his facet as a great writer.
