The place that Gego's work occupies in the abstract-geometric tradition of Venezuela, one of las m fruitful aces of America, is complex, because this subtle work, which paradoxically communicates so many meanings, resists las definitions. For this reason, este book is proposed as an approach to the way in which this artist, in dialogue with the main exponents of this tradition, recognizing and sharing some of their ideas, freely expressed her thought.
