How much house do we need? Thoreu, Le Corbusier and the sustainable cabin
The space we inhabit, reduced to its m expression, has been a source of fascination and experimentation throughout history. Henry David Thoreau vivi or in his forest cabin at Walden Pond between 1845 and 1847. In 1952, Le Corbusier built the famous Cabanon on the Côte d'Azur for himself and his wife. Inspired by these experiences, Urs Peter Flueckiger and his students at Texas Tech University built an economically sustainable eco-cabin in the Texas countryside.
