The second volume covers the beginnings of his pictorial activity (1917-1928): the first Parisian years (urban landscapes and 'little women'), the adventure of Purism with Ozenfant and the exploration of the universe of objects, the discovery of the music-hall and the fascination for the female nude, with delicate watercolors, and the beginning of compositions with objects with poetic reactions.
