Half a century without a paradigm

According to the accepted historical account, the advent of 'postmodern' architecture in torno to 1970 marked the end of the Modern Movement and ushered in a paradigm shift, a transformation that eventually gave rise to the architecture of the contemporary world. But, si this was the case, what is the nature of the paradigm that encompasses current architectural production, si does such a reference model actually exist?
