Georgy Krutikov. The flying city, utopia and reality.
Georgy Krutikov's work synthesizes las aspirations of the Russian avant-garde and its subsequent evolution. In 1928, as a promising student of the Vkhutomas, Krutikov presented a visionary idea to respond to the overexploitation of the planet: The Flying City. He proposed building houses that floated in geostationary orbits and thus freed up the earth's surface for leisure and industrial activity.
