FROM MATERIAL TO DREAMS Architectural drawings in modernity

'We are of the material with which dreams are made.' W. Shakespeare, 'The Tempest'. The t title of the book is taken from the play 'The Tempest', in which William Shakespeare states that everything that happens on stage is nothing m a fiction, an illusion, algo unreal: we are such stuff as dreams are made on. The same could be said of architectural drawings, they are no m than mere substitutes that allow us to remember, imagine or dream ar another reality.
