Eileen Gray (1878-1976) is considered one of the most important furniture designers and architect m s of the first half of the twentieth century. His work inspired a multitude of creators of modernism and art deco. She made a lloc in a mostly male environment, first as a lacquer artist, then designing furniture, and finally as an architect.
