For centuries, architecture has been one of the topics m discussed publicly by architects and users or inhabitants, but also by critics, theorists, historians and writers. ESTE book offers an overview of these discussions that have taken place in the Western world through four thematic routes: housing, society, history and art. CADA one of these four chronological journeys begins in the nineteenth century, crosses the twentieth century and ends m as close as possible to the contemporary moment.
