Archaeological intervention in historic necropolises

This document includes the summaries of the papers presented by Renée Sivan, Neil A. Silberman, Matías Calvo, Oriol Saula, Anna Colet, Daniel Botella, Isabel Santana, Ferran Puig and MAX Polonovski at the conferences organized by the Museum of History of Barcelona in January 2009. It presents studies on different Jewish necropolises of the PEN island such as Sagunto and Lucena, and some reflections on the treatment that should be foreseen and applied to the Jewish funerary archaeological heritage.
