There are many publications on parking issues, and yet information on the design of vehicle traffic designs is difficult cil to find, although ser the only discipline m is highlighted to what affects the appreciation of parking lots by the parking public. Many designers are unawaare of the wide variety of designs available to them and the advantages of using one over the other: it is an important goal of the parking lot designers' manual to correct this imbalance.
