ARCHITECTURE AS IMPURE ART

The book starts from the consideration that the requirements that affect a l architecture (construction, function, beauty, lloc ...) are so many and so disparate that the architectural project can only meet by resorting to contradiction and paradox, or forgetting some and privileging others. This takes us on a journey through the history of architecture – from the Greeks to the present day – which allows us to examine the various ways in which architects have solved these difficulties. The course pret to obtain important and interesting principles, which affect a l understanding of the discipline and the recognition of its cil nature.
